Finish a clean take quickly
- Compare separate attempts
- Trim the start and end
- Remove quiet edges
- Download MP3 or WAV
Record from your microphone, pause and resume, listen back, trim quiet edges and download MP3 or WAV. Nothing is uploaded.
Start with one clear action. The extra tools appear after you have a recording to work with.
Allow microphone access and speak while the timer and live waveform show that your voice is being captured.
Pause without ending the take, resume when ready, then play the complete recording before making a decision.
Shorten quiet audio at the beginning or end, then save the result as MP3 or WAV.
A second attempt should not erase the version that had better energy or pacing. Keep each take, compare them and choose only after listening.
Paste a script when you are recording narration, practicing a presentation or reading aloud. The teleprompter stays closed for quick voice notes.
“Keep your next line in view while you record. Speak at your own pace, pause when you need a breath, and continue when you are ready.”
Choose a familiar job to see the shortest path from microphone to finished file.
Use the recorder like a browser-based voice memo: speak, remove the empty edges and keep a file you can send or revisit.
Talk through the thought while it is fresh.
Remove the silence before the first word and after the last.
Download MP3 or save the session as a local draft.
ResultA compact spoken note without an app install or account.
Open the optional teleprompter, record more than one delivery and choose after listening instead of replacing the first attempt.
Add the voice-over to videoPaste the narration and set a comfortable scroll speed.
Record several takes without losing the earlier versions.
Choose a take and continue into your video or audio workflow.
ResultA selected narration take ready for editing or video placement.
Record the same passage more than once, then compare pronunciation, pace and pauses using the real playback—not a score or guess.
Use your own text or open it in the teleprompter.
Listen to each take from beginning to end.
Keep the strongest version and try again when needed.
ResultA simple A/B listening loop for reading, language and presentation practice.
Capture an intro, hook, lyric, melody note or episode outline first. Keep multiple fragments locally, then edit only the ones worth developing.
Continue in Audio EditorRecord the idea with as little setup as possible.
Rename useful takes so they remain easy to recognize.
Download one take or arrange selected material in Audio Editor.
ResultA lightweight sketch that can become a finished track later.
The recorder handles the decisions around a take. Audio Editor is there when the content inside the take needs work.
After recording: Download remains the primary result action. Continue in Audio Editor appears as the second option when you need more control.
Your microphone recording and saved work stay on the device you are using.
Recording, playback, trimming and export run in your browser instead of uploading your voice for server-side processing.
Save a session manually to reopen its takes, trim selections and script from Library on this browser and device.
Local drafts do not sync and are not permanent backups. Clearing browser data can remove them, so keep a downloaded copy.
Both downloads contain the take and trim selection you approved. The right choice depends on what happens next.
Use MP3 for voice messages, narration drafts and recordings you want to send or store more compactly.
Use WAV before further editing when you want to avoid another lossy encoding step. It cannot restore detail that was never recorded.
Microphone access, pause and resume, MP3 and WAV downloads, local drafts, mobile recording and privacy.
An online voice recorder captures sound from your microphone in a web browser. AudioMuse lets you record your voice, pause and resume, listen back, trim the result and download MP3 or WAV without installing a recording app.
Choose Start recording and allow microphone access. Speak while watching the live waveform, pause when you need a break, then finish the take. Listen back, trim the edges and download your recording. Adding a script is optional.
Yes. You can record, use the optional teleprompter, keep multiple takes, trim and download without an account. Each take can be up to 10 minutes long.
No. Recording, trimming and export happen on your device. An internet connection is needed to load the page and the MP3 export engine. Local drafts are stored in this browser rather than uploaded or connected to an account.
Yes. Pause a take without ending it, then continue when you are ready. The live waveform and timer continue with the same take after you resume.
Yes. Open Add a recording script, paste your text and choose Read script. You can adjust the text size and scrolling speed, pause the scrolling or return to the top. Leave the panel closed when you do not need it.
No. Record another take keeps the earlier versions in your take list. You can listen to, rename, trim or download each take before choosing the one you want.
Yes. Choose MP3 for a smaller file that is convenient to share, or WAV when you plan to continue editing and want to avoid another lossy encoding step.
Trim quiet edges detects low-level audio at the beginning and end while leaving pauses inside the recording in place. Review the selection before downloading, or reset the trim to restore the full take.
A saved draft stays in the same browser on the same device. It is not connected to your account or synced across devices. Clearing site data, using private browsing or browser storage cleanup can remove it, so download important recordings too.
Choose Continue in Audio Editor after recording. The selected audio opens on the timeline, where you can split clips, remove internal pauses, adjust volume or add music.
Check that the microphone is connected and not muted, then allow microphone access in your browser settings. If more than one input is detected, choose the correct microphone. Make a short test before an important recording.
Use a current mobile browser with microphone support. Keep the page open and the screen awake while recording because calls, screen locking or switching apps may interrupt a take.
No. This tool records microphone input. It does not capture browser-tab or system audio, record remote calls or convert speech into text.
Start with your microphone. The teleprompter, extra takes and Audio Editor will be there only if you need them.
